ABOUT US
Stramshall Village Hall, situated in the beautiful village of Stramshall within the civil parish of Uttoxeter Rural, East Staffordshire, England, has a rich history that highlights its significant role within the community for nearly a century.
Between 1923 and 1925, Mr. T.S. Myatt purchased the old Primitive Methodist Chapel, a wooden structure situated on Vicarage Drive where the current village hall now stands. After making numerous improvements, he generously gifted it to the village to serve as an institute for community activities. In the late 1970s, the original wooden building was replaced by the present village hall, continuing its legacy as a central hub for community gatherings.
For around 100 years, our village hall has provided a venue for residents to come together, hosting a wide array of events and activities that foster community spirit. We take pride in this storied history and remain committed to serving the Stramshall community for many years to come.
